Smyril Blue Water is the only freight forwarding company
offering a Ro/Ro service on the North Atlantic. The ultra modern
Ro/Pax ferry "NORRÖNA" has a capacity of 130 trailer units and runs
between the harbours of Seydisfjordur, Torshavn and Hirtshals with
a service speed of 21 knots making it the fastest freight service
on the North Atlantic.
Apart from this we offer our customers late closing times at our
warehouses in Denmark so even productions Friday afternoon can be
delivered to the Consignee in Faroes on Monday, in the East coast
of Iceland Tuesday/Wednesday and in Reykjavik Wednesday/Thursday.
Productions from Iceland and Faroes - mainly fish products - will
be delivered at all main markets in Europe from Monday morning.
