For the first time ever, a drilling rig has called at the port of Hirtshals in the north of Jutland. Maersk Drilling has appointed Blue Water Shipping as agent for the rig "Maersk Guardian". In addition to acting as agent, we will be assisting with various logistics tasks during the port stay.
600 people are expected to be working around the clock on the rig renovation.
This is not the first time that Blue Water Shipping is involved in interesting jobs in connection with a rig call. Over the past five years, we have achieved substantial experience with rig upgrade logistics.
