China is in many ways a very interesting country - in respect of its history, culture, beautiful scenery, gastronomy and people - and not least because of the commercial aspects. This is also the reason why many Danish companies have successfully established production and offices in China.
Blue Water wants to secure a foothold in the Chinese market and has therefore aimed at the ultimate registration for foreign freight forwarding & shipping companies - an A-class registration.
With this registration we have, not only towards our customers but also towards the Chinese Authorities, shown our sincere interest in doing business in China - not just now but in the long term.
We already experienced this interest during the registration of our new office in Shanghai, when the Director of Shanghai Administrative Bureau for Industry & Commerce wished to have a personal meeting with us to hear more about our company and business plans in China.
This was a surprising and encouraging involvement from the Chinese Authorities - and extremely valuable for us, as Chinese "guan xi" meaning good relationship, is of the utmost importance for doing business in China.
Our office in Shanghai is now ready for any freight enquiry, as we have our A Class Licence meaning we are legally registered according to the Chinese Authorities' requirements and conditions for foreign companies.
We can now take on any job within the fields of transport, logistics and shipping - by road, sea and air - and we can book directly to the shipping lines and invoice Chinese and foreign clients directly. Furthermore we have permission to carry out survey, tally and similar maritime jobs.
