Air Liquide is currently constructing two identical APSA nitrogen plants in Kalundborg, Denmark and Helsingborg, Sweden.
Blue Water Shipping's projects department in Esbjerg handled logistics, which involved securing that components were delivered from mange different suppliers in Europe.
In terms of transports, cargo of all sizes has been shipped by special road transports and by sea.
For the plant in Kalundborg, the final delivery was a storage tank of 75 metric tons. Blue Water Shipping chartered the coaster MV "Amke", which departed Istanbul in Turkey on 30 December 2011 with arrival to Kalundborg on 15 January 2012.
Upon arrival to the port in Denmark, Blue Water Shipping handled the transport to site including the positioning of the tank on its foundation using two mobile cranes.
In the course of February, an identical tank will be shipped to Helsingborg in Sweden.
